We were incredibly inspired by Mike Han’s debut Detroit gallery exhibition, Mike Han: United by Design. The exhibition showcases his signature creative practices — inspired by Korean heritage, graffiti, and modern design — on original salvaged Albert Kahn and Minoru Yamasaki architectural blueprints. The prolific architects designed Detroit’s grand landmarks and industrial automotive factories — Detroit’s hot bones that inspire us every day.
HOT BONES is hosting a Restorative Yoga & Sonic Meditation pop-up in the middle of Mike Han's exhibition in collaboration with exceptional partners:
--> Location by PLAYGROUND — Art gallery in Detroit focused on creating opportunities for artists and creative professionals to support and develop Detroit's creative economy.
--> Yoga by Giustina Easton (G) — G intersects somatic resourcefulness and anatomical precision through body-minded techniques to facilitate self regulation and uplift inner healing.
--> Sound by Afro Moone — Afro Moone is a detroit-based holistic resource founded by sound practitioner Sophiyah Elizabeth, specializing in frequency meditation, bio-field awareness, and spiritual liberation practices.
Manduka® equipment will be provided by HOT BONES free of charge, no need to bring your own mats, blocks, or towels. Note that pop-up classes are not heated — all future classes at HOT BONES will take place in an infrared heated environment.
