10-hour Training: From Theory to Touch: Anatomy, Props & Practical Adjustments

  • HOT BONES 2895 East Grand Boulevard Detroit, MI, 48202 United States (map)

This 10-hour immersion that bridges the gap between intellectual understanding and embodied practice. Designed for both yoga teachers and practitioners, fitness professionals and enthusiasts alike, this training will deepen your connection to the body and refine your capacity to support others in theirs.

Through a blend of structural anatomy, prop-based techniques, and practical adjustments, we’ll explore how the body moves, compensates, and thrives when given the right support. This immersion isn’t just about memorizing anatomical terms or perfecting alignment—it’s about cultivating sensitivity, precision, and an intuitive touch that empowers sustainable movement and healing.

Expect a balance of theory and hands-on application. We'll dive into:

  • Key anatomical insights to enhance body awareness and inform your practice.

  • The art of using props to create accessibility, stability, and transformation.

  • Techniques for offering safe, effective, and attuned adjustments.

Rooted in mindfulness and grounded in science, this immersion will offer you tools to foster conscious embodiment—for yourself and those you guide. Whether you’re refining your personal practice or enhancing your professional toolkit, this experience will help you move beyond surface-level mechanics and into the deeper wisdom of the body.

A manual will be provided and the hours of this training will count towards Yoga Alliance Continued Education. Let’s create space for learning, exploration, and the kind of transformation that begins with touch but resonates far beyond it.

TRAINING SCHEDULE
May 3rd — 2pm-6pm
May 4th — 2pm-6pm
